Overview
The Sign Configuration File function re-signs a control.ini or agent.ini configuration file after making changes.
Digital signatures are used to verify the integrity of the configuration files and detect any unauthorised changes.
📌 Always test an updated configuration file before deploying it.
Sign Configuration File
- Select Configuration from the menu
- Double-click Sign Configuration File
- Select the configuration from the Configuration list
- Choose the Remote Tools configuration .ini file to sign using Configuration File
- Choose the configuration's KEK using Select KEK File
- Click Sign
