Cookie Policy

Last Updated: 28/08/2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Jserv Services Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on our Website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online service. Cookies help websites function properly, improve performance, and remember user preferences.

Cookies We Set

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of our Website and cannot be switched off. Without them you cannot sign in or manage a subscription.

Name Purpose Expires
session Keeps you signed in and holds the security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Contains no personal data itself - only a random identifier for your session. 1 hour after your last request

Functional Cookies

These cookies remember a choice you have already made so the Website can be more useful. They are not required for the Website to work.

Name Purpose Expires
hasAccount Records that this browser has previously registered an account, so that the "Sign up" option is not shown to you again. 1 year

Analytics

remote-tools.co.uk does not use cookies for analytics or tracking purposes. We set no analytics cookie, load no analytics script into the page, and store nothing on your device for this purpose - so there is nothing here for you to accept or refuse.

Instead, our own server keeps a log of the requests it receives, in the way that web servers ordinarily do. A log entry records the address the request came from, the page asked for, the response given, the identifier your browser sends describing itself, and the address of the page you followed a link from, if any. This happens on our server rather than on your device, which is why it involves no cookie and is not something the banner asks you about.

These logs let us keep the site running and secure, look into faults, and see which pages are read. They are kept for a maximum of 360 days and are then deleted. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not shared with an analytics provider, and never leave our own infrastructure. Our Privacy Policy explains the lawful basis for this and the rights you have over that information.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party tracking or marketing cookies, and we do not share data with advertising networks.

Our payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as the merchant of record for your purchase. When you view pricing or open the checkout, Paddle's software is loaded into the page and may set its own cookies and similar identifiers - for example to display prices in your local currency, to keep your checkout session together, and to detect fraudulent transactions. These cookies are set by Paddle and are governed by Paddle's own privacy and cookie policies, not by this one.

Managing Cookies

You can change your mind about optional cookies at any time. Your current choice is not yet set.

You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Removing the strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing in again until they are permitted.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and reflected by an updated effective date.
